Star Wars Games is the 99th episode of The Angry Video Game Nerd (series).

It begins with the Nerd having a bad feeling while he looking through his Star Wars games. He then states he will be playing a lot of Star Wars games this time. Explaining while the movies were awesome and excellant and then wonders how they can screw up the games. He begins with playing the ones on the Atari 2600 beginning with Star Wars: The Arcade Game. He states the game one takes place during the Attack on the Death Star scene and stating since it was great back then and it just was decent. Next, he talks of The Empire Strikes Back, in this one only scene which was The Battle of Hoth, the Nerd talks on how its gameplay and enemys are. He then talks about Return of the Jedi, this time about the 2nd attack on the Death Star, the Nerd thinks they only pick the space scene since Atari loves space so much. Since of all the Space games Atari made. He states the ending was a long time to wait. Then another game called Jedi Arena with Luke training with his lightsaber like in New Hope. He states the game is sort of like pinball but with a twist. He concludes the Atari ones stating while they are bad, its Atari and thats a reason why.

He then moves on to the Famicom one, he states it was only out in Japan and also either it was great or it sucks. He then states while the cutscenes our good, the gameplay isn't. He asks why Luke's hair is black and why he dies with only one hit. He also states that the lightsaber sucks and it doesn't work. After getting to the end of the first level, he asks why is he facing Darth Vader already. During their fight he turns into a monster. Shocked and speechless, the Nerd asks why would Vader turn into a monster and goes on to say that never happen in any of the movies. Asking for his beer droid, which gives him a shaked beer. Advancing to the next level, he states its easy and at the end of the level asks why can Luke drive his speedcruiser into the bar. The Nerd makes a version of the who shot first scene stating that it was Luke who kill the other guy which is fake. He then continues into the next level which is a space shooter which is decent. Then moving back to side-scroller, Luke dies and the game over screen appears with the Nerd stating why is that Vader's breathing. He then is shocked when he has to go back to the start of the game. He states while there are Jedi powers to assist you, it only last for a certain amount of time. He ends the game by stating, its a piece of shit.

He moves on to the NES version, which was not made by LJN, which may have a chance. But the driving sucks and you have no clue where to go. He states the gameplay is better then the Famicom version and has more control. He then states there are other playable characters like Leia who can jump higher. He then decides to introduce the Beat a Game button which can beat the hardest of games. He uses it on Ninja Gaiden 2, The Legend of Zelda, and Megaman. He then decides to resume playing till the Beer Droid hits him after being insulted. The Nerd moves on to The Empire Strikes Back, he states the control is getting hard to get use to and its like the last game. He then states the forces powers and the voices in this one are better. He then talks about the flying stages and then the Dagabi stage. He then stops and states there was no Return of the Jedi on NES and then asks his droid for a beer which he then declines but then the Nerd gets hit with a lot of beers. He finally states the NES games aren't that bad really.

He then moves on to the SNES games, and this time the graphics and is very good. Since the characters in the level there suppose to be and it follows the movie well. He also states the voices are nice and the bosses are big and scary. He then talks the attacks are great. He then talks the thing wrong is that the games are too hard. Also about fake jumps and hard enemys. He then states there is a balance betweent he calm and frustartion. Then talks how Shadows of the Empire was the beginning of a bright future for the Star Wars games. He then ends since there are a lot of Star Wars games. He then lists a lot of them which the last ones are make ups until where a cow takes a shit in the Nerd's room. The Nerd then complains about the whole mess when it ends.
