Godzilla is the 77th episode of The Angry Video Game Nerd (series).

It begins with the Nerd stating that video games and monster movies were two important things in his childhood. He then goes on to explain that for the U.S. that Godzilla movies really didn't happen for many reasons. He then was pissed when he founded out that Japan was still making Godzilla all through the Nerd's life. He then also goes on to stating the video games on Godzilla really was also a problem. He starts with complaining about the title screen is blocked by Godzilla. He then asks why there is no specific year takes so damn long. When actually playing, it looks like a chess board. He then asks why there are so many enemies and why is the jumping not actually a jump. Then mostly rant about a lot of enemies. He then switches to Mothra, and states that the flying is useful and also her attacks are not. He then states the boss fights are annoying as hell. And then finds out there is a time limit which is annoying. He ends the game by calling it so many names.

Then he moves his attention towards it's sequel Godzilla 2: War on Monsters. The Nerd expected the game to be better then the last one. As soon as he start, he is shocked at this game. He then tells that you control the military into defeating the monsters. He then states it looks like a board game and as well it's boss battles are hard. He the gets angry that this game is not a sequel to last since it was different in so many ways.

He then turns over towards the Game Boy game. As soon as he starts, he is shocked at it but keeps playing. He states that Godzilla does not look like him. He then explain that Godzilla throws boxing gloves at enemies. He then moves onto the SNES game Super Godzilla. He once again complains about the year. Then he takes about the gameplay. He states that Godzilla takes damage even when he destroys a building. He states the battle mode is not great and just sucks. He wished if there would be a game with all the Godzilla characters in a fighting game.

He then follows up with revealing the game was made but only in Japan. He states if he got it when he was a kid he would have loved the game. He state while he is happy with the game since its true to the everything that Godzilla is, that Nintendo Power actually talked about in one issue. However there were no more news about after that. He then says that today there are many Godzilla games. Three were Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee, Godzilla Save the Earth, and Godzilla Unleashed. He tried each of them out and was blown away at everything and screamed since he wanted this games as a kid but he was born too early. He then invents a new curse word and it ends.
