Godzilla: Monster of Monsters is a Nintendo Entertainment System game produced by Toho in 1992. It is a sidescrolling beat-em-up game. The Nerd reviewed it in his Godzilla episode, and gave it a mixed review. He praised the simple controls for Godzilla's attacks, but wasn't pleased with the fact that Mothra kept being knocked down by even the slightest of attacks, and that most of the game's more familiar monsters didn't begin to appear until later in the game. He also wasn't amused by the fact that the boss battles had a time limit. Despite his initial complaints, as the video progressed he admitted that in retrospect it was still the best Godzilla game from the 8-bit and 16-bit eras (not counting Godzilla: Kaiju Daikessen, which was not released outside of Japan).
- Despite James giving the game a mixed review, fans of the Godzilla series appear to give the game more positive reviews.
