R.O.B.

R.O.B. (short for Robotic Operating Buddy) is an NES accessory only usable with two games, Gyromite and Stack-Up, two launch titles of the NES. R.O.B. has several small accessories for each game, but either way, he still moves incredibly slow and it's not very fun to play with him, as the Nerd expressed. He was also depicted in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart DS as a playable character.

100th AVGN episode[]

R.O.B. Is The main antagonist of The 100th episode. The accessory and both games were reviewed by The Angry Video Game Nerd on March 3, 2011. R.O.B. was reviewed in the 100th episode, where he tied up the Nerd in controller cords, knocked him out and turned all of the video games in the world (AVGN Universe) into either Gyromite or Stack-Up . He then grew 100 feet and proceeded to rampage the city, shooting lasers and toppling buildings.

Realizing all of the video games in the world were gone (even the bad ones), the Nerd woke up, escaped, and equipped himself with all his NES accessories as armor, like he did in the Wizard/Super Mario Bros. 3 review where he fought the posessed SMB3 cartridge with Super Mecha Death Christ. He then grew 100 feet, and destroyed R.O.B. with his Super Scope laser-bazooka.

This episode features music by John Jennings Boyd and Lachlan Barclay.
